The lavender has seeded itself again
By the roots of the tree where we used to smoke your sister's cigarettes

We'd crush the flower on our wrists and on our pulsing necks

To prove our lungs were still bellows that were blowing laughter.
And I insisted on wearing sunglasses and speaking rudimentary french
I tried not to laugh at anything by keeping my teeth tight clenched

Currently affiliated to the University of St Andrews students' association, 'Music is Love' began as a collective of
individuals passionate about showcasing quality music in what had become a music backwater.
In the past we have put on some lovely gigs including: King Creosote, The Pictish Trail, James Yorkston, Josie Long, Dry the River and Meursault.
